Yes, we're going through a very difficult time right now. Especially as an artist or anyone with a passion for a cultural profession, we are going through a crisis.

After moving back to Holland from my beloved Berlin and being without a job and living with my mom again for the last months, I decided to at least spend my time well. And, to be honest, it was really refreshing to do nothing else but creating and writing and doing what makes me the happiest.

So I woke up everyday, I did a workout and I started writing. I wrote and wrote and wrote. And eventually the little theatres got too open again and I saw this "lost" time as an opportunity, to do something I have been wanting to do for years.

And it's really happening right now. I can't believe that it really actually worked out and I'm so proud of the amazing work that me and my team are doing: I'm performing my own written solo show: 'Ik, jij, wij' in Amsterdam in the Tapastheatre in October!

It has been a dream to write my own songs for a while now. And now that I had the time, I'm really happy with the stuff I got to create. I did find out I'm a terrible composer, but luckily Bart Wolvekamp was there to make music to my weird lyrics. He seems to understand my musical brain better than I do, because he's making some freaking masterpieces. Of course I couldn't make any show without my life coach cheering me on and asking the questions that need to be asked to make te best version of our show: Ara Halici is my inspiration and one off the reasons why I love my job so much. After the brainstorms I had with him and Bart, I felt this new thrill that I haven't felt in a few months.

Having my sister and brother in law there for my costumes, decors and light-plan is a blessing in the skies, because God knows I'm the most clumsy and a-technical person when it comes to this.

And now it's here, my brain, my words, my very very very own show. Just me, on a stage, with my heart on my lips, singing about the love life that I only dream of having. A musicaltheater show that is recognizable for everyone and that will make you laugh and cry and make your heart smile as hard as mine. It would be an honour if you (Dutch) guys would come and watch me. I will be playing from the 15th of October for three whole weeks. And also, I will be joined by these other amazing performers, so I won't be too lonely.

Buy tickets for my show: Ik, jij, wij (and the other performers) HERE and feel free to send me an email or reach out to me on social media for more information.

Lots of love,

I'm back! Last month my amazing last ship adventure ended and now I'm back with my family and friends in Holland. I'm happy to spend some time with them again, but of course I couldn't stay to long without doing something creative.

Since my website is a year old now (happy birthday), I decided it was time for a new showreel that contains some performances from the last exciting year!

Thank you for all your support on the socials. I'm very thankful for all I got to do and very excited for whats yet to come!

Last July, after an amazing contract with Tui Cruises Mein Schiff, I decided that I was not done with the Shiplife yet. I had had the honour of being the Start Up Theatre Ensemble Cast of: 'Die Neue Mein Schiff 1' and I loved every second of it. I loved the shows and especially to play a different show every night. I loved my work as a singer. I loved waking up in a different country every day and discovering the most amazing places. I loved being a part of a truly talented ensemble filled with kind-hearted people. I loved the life on the ship and meeting so many people from all over the world.

Therefore, it was not a big decision for me to do another contract. I packed up all my stuff again and moved to Berlin where tomorrow, I will start rehearsing again for the Mein Schiff 1, where I will return in February. I'm may even be more excited for this contract than last year and I can't wait to meet my new team.

Let's go for it again, jump into this adventure and I will see you guys in August!

Lots of love,
